UANYCHM2020 Week 13

Forty eight days until race!

  • W13D1: 1.0mi very easy; drills + 3x strides; 4x 5:00 @ 7:05/mile + 3:00 jog rest; 1.0mi very easy
  • W13D2: 4.0mi @ 8:52/mile
  • W13D3: 1.5mi very easy; drills + 3x strides; 2x 2.0mi @ 7:41/mile + 2:00 jog rest; 1.5mi very easy (since I skipped this session last week)
  • W13D4: 12.0mi @ 8:52/mile

W13D1 Speed, overall an okay+ session. I must have dropped the towel during rep 1 there. Felt a bit sluggish without the long run from W12, hopefully I didn't lose much fitness.

W13D2 Easy 4 miler, nothing special.

W13D3 Threshold, I definitely blew up during this session. It's on the treadmill so maybe it got too hot for me. I needed to take a short static rest before some cool down. I didn't even do the whole 1.5mi cool down. This was definitely a C session.

W13D4 Long Run was an F. I took out my Vaporfly Next% for a test run. It felt bouncy and fast. I did 1.5 miles outside then resume running on the treadmill. I got so bored that I stopped at mile 3. I was 7 miles short for today. I was starting to feel a bit burned out...
